Southwest Spice

A picture should be worth a 1,000 words. I'll stick to just a few.

Baseball

I love to watch the game.

If I were to play it would look something like Mr. Ed's attempt.

Poor Tammy

I feel sorry for Tammy Faye!

I actually think she's a woman who has no clue what's up or down. Yeah, I know what happened in the 80's and was upset at the time. I really don't think she has a mean bone in her body. That's not to say I'm going to join her church or even fall for the "just send some cash in" game; I just think it's sad. I do read her blog and wonder how she's fairing with her cancer treatment.
Good luck Tammy!

About those TV dinners...

I was a big fan of the turkey and mashed potatos with a side of cranberry. The fried chicken was good and frankly the only picture I could find to add to the blog. Are these treasures from 60's still sold? I wonder...

Look at my 70's dinner

Molded to perfection.

I just need the snack table in front of the T.V. that needs to "warm-up" before usage.

Mothers-in-law

A show from the late 60's that I use to watch all the time. Stupid sitcoms thrilled me almost as much as the summer rainy days that forced me inside to watch them. A classic plot centering on two "kids" that married and lived in a garage apartment between their respective family homes. The mothers-in-law were a couple of crazy gals that got into Lucy and Ethel type troubled situations. I'm sure if the show comes out on DVD I'll purchase it and enjoy it as if it were 1969.
